Master Plan,
Concept,
Trondheim (NO).
Adaptive reuse of a cluster of homes built in 1860,
with Megi Davitidze,
supported by TU Berlin, NTNU, and Europan 17.
Recently purchased by the NTNU campus, the strategy looked at ways to improve movement through the cluster without completely transforming it, while reimagining it as a student center. A greenhouse-like hallway, common in the region, was proposed to connect the existing buildings, while the incorporation of ramps help navigate the steep and uneven site, unifying the ensemble without heavy intervention.
