While other pools of this replicated typology remain in use across the city, the Pankow site has fallen into disrepair and faces demolition for a parking lot. The proposal explores how the structure could be reimagined as a public space, with the emptied pool basin serving as a flexible venue for community gatherings, cultural events, or seasonal uses.
